So the post kind of goes in backwards order but oh well....The first picture is from CHINATOWN!!! On Saturday was Shawni's B-day, and Elwen wanted us all to go to Chinatown. I was expecting TONS of Asian's wondering around aimlesley, but was disappointed. We ate some good(interesting) but good food. We had some interesting beef, egg tarts, mochi rice with pork and egg, Win Lin got chicken feet and Elwen got pan fried stuff that actually looked ok, just greasy so I decided against those. I am defineatley going back and getting a golden ox(It is the year of the ox) in the open market place. These eggs I thought sounded SO scrumptious!! That isn't even the wierdest thing, in the market there were just salted dried fish just sitting there in plastic bags. It is funny to me. Jack and Jonah would like Chinatown because you can get lots of stupid crap for cheap. You should come boys!!
The next pic is waiting at the bus stop in the POURING rain. We were soaked the WHOLE day, but it was a good day over all. Elwen is in the pink sweater and Win Lin is in the black jacket. We waited how long for the bus you ask?? 45 min. The ride to Honolulu wasn't that bad except right at Kaneohe, a crazy lady in front of Shawni and me told us we were all aliens to the earth and not to live in one spot for too long. I still laugh when I think about her. Oh man, the people you see on the bus are worth the $2.oo.
Next we have Shawni's Birthday Diner(hahahaha)...It was really YUMMY and nice. We were going to try and go to Duke's but instead ended up going to the Hula Grill. They make the most AMAZING dessert, it goes a little something like this: LOTS of ICECREAM(not so good if you are lactose intolerant) LOTS of CHOCOLATE SYRUP, LOTS of MACADAMIA NUTS, and finally LOTS of WHIPPED CREAM!! It was just divine. So good!!
Finally, but defineatley not least we have Jef and Jeannie aka Dad and Mom. They came out here and it was nice to see them. They helped us get out of Laie, bikes!!!, and just enough gas to get me to the end of the semester. Oh man it was nice to see them. It was really crappy weather though, which sucked because I forget how white everyone else is in March. Sorry guys(EVERYONE) that must suck.jk. It was a fun few days!

I think you're getting a little spoiled with all of your visitors this past month...jk, I'm just jealous that I haven't been one of them! That dessert sounds divine. If I ever do come, we're going there!
Sounds like you are having lots of fun with some school mixed in. I'm glad that you were able to have family come and visit. It is always nice having family near by (or just to see every once in awhile).
