When mom and dad were here Shawni and I got bikes! I know most people would not be satisfied with bicycles, but let me tell you....THESE ARE AMAZING!! After 8 months of walking(man I am glad I am not a missionary) and the bus being my only means of transportation(what am I talking about even missionaries get cars, so NEVER MIND) bicycles are fantastic!!
We went on a ride today to the next town called Hau'ula, to the beach and Papa Ole's Kitchen!! It was fun and exciting, a little dangerous, but totally worth it.
Shawni really HATED those bridges even though they were safe, and I got to know the guard-rail on one of them really well!! We are still re-learning how to ride bikes....sad to say it!!

Pretty exciting! I loved my bike in Italy...no gears, just pump harder if there is a hill! Enjoy your new freedom... :)
