Half Marathon...WHAT?!?!
YES...I got the right order of pictures. So yesterday, my aunt Karisa, cousins Staci and Cassie and myself ran the Pink Series Half Marathon in Park City for Breast Cancer. Yes, we were running to save the ta ta's or how Staci and Cassie put it, we were running to save second base. It was such an experience, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of running a half marathon, and while we didn't race, we finished with a time of 2:56 or something like that. I was fine with it, especially how I feel today......Anyway, I was so nervous, really SO nervous. I had not been training, just with the running I do for tennis, also, literally about 20 seconds before we started, my iPod arm band broke. I ended up just sticking my iPod down my shirt, but I was SO bummed!!! It was such a great race, and the fact that I can do that makes me feel so good about myself. I ran 13 miles yesterday....YIKES!!!!!!! Those three hours were the most calm my mind has been in a LONG time. It was also fun to see David, James and Adaley. Jarrett came up on Saturday to cheer us on, which was neat. He told me he started sweating waiting for us, you should have seen US!! It was a great day with family. There is definitley nothing better than family, I wish however, my family would have come, but they have been making this drive all too often and are about to make it next month, so I understand why they didn't come, but it still would have been fun. Oh well, maybe for the next one?!?!?!

It was so much fun!! And it was fun running with you. I'm thinkin we need to do it again next year. That way, we can actually train, and we can get your mom and MAYBE my mom to do it with us! I also agree with you about the clear mind thing. My mind was so clear... I had no worries, I just got to admire the beautiful surroundings and chat with my sister and my cousin. Loved it.
Way to go, Justine!!!! My hero! That is fabulous! You are amazing.
Wow!! Awesome job Justine!!! Holy cow, I could never run that much.
