Family

This year I had AMAZING Thanksgivings...Yes, plural ThanksgivingS. It.was.awesome. Seriously though, it was great and this is why....

THANKSGIVING #1: Family Thanksgiving in Washington. We had LOTS of family there that weekend in support of Jack. It was great to have familial support after a rough few months. We took family pictures, (which can I say...I like being tan better than white...) and those were a BLAST!! Just ask Jarrett how his face is :)). We ended that weekend on I think a spiritual high; with our grandparents, aunts, uncle, parents and siblings all just being there for each other and for one of the first times I think, we all were laughing and having so much fun.

L-R: Jonah, James, Elder Jack, Me & Jarrett

He was the reason for the gathering :))

THANKSGIVING #2: With the roommates in Utah. Lots of friends, food and fun. We had so many people over, but we had a legit dinner complete with turkey, gravy, rolls and stuffing. It was so great, we also had LOTS of dessert. I have realized that having great friends is really important, and I do have great friends and roommates. This Thanksgiving was cool because it showed me that I and others are capable of doing the 'adult' jobs for Thanksgiving, and it TURNED OUT!!!!

THANKSGIVING #3: With family in Utah. My grandparents came down to Utah after Jack's farewell and they stayed until the next Friday for the true Thanksgiving. My uncle came up from Arizona with his family, my aunt and her family hosted, and Jarrett and I joined. I cannot believe how much fun it is to be with family (I probably sound like I haven't ever hung out with my family or appreciated them before, and in fact I may not have).  It has been a great month. We rounded out this thanksgiving with seeing Harry Potter....which was good but a little scary for me. I am DEATHLY afraid of snakes which is why I will ALWAYS LOVE Hawaii (There are none). It was a good movie.
